So a few things on my mind this Casual Friday:
A big CONGRATS to my bloggy BFF Nicole who recently got engaged to her manfriend, Matt! Nicole is one of my bloggy soul mates (luckily it's a mutual feeling), whose grown into a definite real life friend and I couldn't be happier to be engaged as the same time as this special lady. She rocks my socks, her blog is amazing and I'm so so so happy for her! Love ya girlfriend, can't wait to
drank some beers toast to our engagements in the near future.
So Old Navy got me again - that e-mail about Rockstar jeans for $19 a week ago had me rushing to the store. It was a successful trip and I bought a bunch of clothes that were SUPER cute (including the things above and a few chambray shirts) but as soon as I signed up for my personal trainer, I knew those clothes had to go back. If I'm invested in this weight loss, my closet should be too! I'm so sad to see $19 Rockstars go back to the store but if all goes well, the won't fit me in a few months/week anyways. 🙂
So I've been going in circles trying to decide if I'm going to color my hair. I'm leaning towards the warm brown of Shay Mitchell's hair above, what do you think? I think it's better if I do it sooner rather than later because we're probably planning on doing our engagement photoshoot around late April - mid May and if I don't like it, that's enough time for me to dye it back. Should I do all over color or go for highlights? I did highlights once, about 5 years ago, here's a picture for reference:
BTW, that's my gorgeous future sister in law and good grief, I wish I had put some lipstick on. That's my baby face. Haha feel free to share your thoughts on my hair color, I could use all the help I can get!
Rob and I made this from Ashley's blog the other night for dessert and it was so yummy!
Another bloggy love and dear friend of mine Niki has started Youtube beauty videos and I'm obsessed. She's just as beautiful and funny in person as she is on her blog!
Lauren wrote a post about the r-word that really resonated with me.
As if I couldn't talk about Emily enough, check out these AMAZING styled shoots she was part of.
Any hair color advice or tips?
What're your plans this weekend?
Have a great one everyone!
