Sooooo remember how I mentioned that I get obsessed with hobbies easily? I'm officially addicted to thrifting. It started with craft supplies like glassware and now I'm knee deep in blazers and crewneck sweaters. It's bizarre because I definitely didn't grow up with secondhand clothes and at first, it did weird me out. But honestly the prices are so good, I get tired of clothes so easily, and I wash everything before I wear it anyways!
I bring this up because I officially spent $40 on a trip to Goodwill recently and I realized that was an awful lot to spend at a secondhand store where everything is less than $8 (and often less than $3). My Mom is horrified at my newest hobby but I tell her I'm just saving money for my more luxurious gifts to myself (a.k.a everything Michael Kors makes, that man is after my heart, I swear).
Speaking of Michael Kors, here's my next gift guide: Gifts for your Girl (or yourself 😉 )! Feel free to share this with your men, ladies!
I tried to include a few affordable pieces in here (because I don't know about you but I can't spent all my money on a JCrew and Anthro filled closet) but get real, who DOESN'T want a Michael Kors watch? And I can personally vouch for the Michael Kors iPhone wristlet, it is one of my favorite Christmas gifts ever! Also, everything under the "Boho Chic" category is from Etsy (support homemade when you can!).
I'd love to know 1 thing you're crossing your fingers for this holiday season, whether you can afford it or not!
Also I'd love some more advice! I've been wanting to dye my hair and since the beginning of summer I'd dreamt of going ombre. But recently SO many people I knew took the plunge before me and now I just feel like it'll look like I'm just following. What's another hair change you can recommend for dark hair? And don't suggest chopping my hair... lol I donated my hair 4 years ago and I almost never emotionally recovered.
