Mani Monday: Cheetah Print

Happy Monday readers!

Sorry I've been on an epic hiatus, I know the standard procedure is to beg amazing bloggers to write guest posts in an absence but as you can see by my entries prior to vacation, my life was in complete disarray beforehand. Anyhoot, I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and weekend after!

As I am still editing photos from vacation, I thought it'd be fun to join in with a Mani Monday linky with the two lovely Heathers from Just Love.ly and Glitter and Gloss (which I found via the amazing Emily's Anna Delores Blog). As I post this right now, I thought it was funny that Heather also featured Cheetah Print from My Name is Kristy. Great minds think alike huh?

The colors I used were a mini Zoya called Shay (which I got in my Birchbox) and one of my all time faves, OPI Mermaid tears (and a random black nail art). I find myself gravitating towards cream and mint green together lately! Any colors you're currently diggin?

Join the linky party on Just Love.ly and Glitter and Gloss!

Aside from all the good feelings I get from newly mani-ed fingers, I'm actually feeling quite under the weather. Part of my 9-5 job includes attending child births of women enrolled in my study and I drove 2 hours away and back late Saturday night, and didn't get home until 1:30 am. Then when I finally got home, I had a terrible case of insomnia so a lack of sleep has driven my body into shut down mode. Needless to say I'm suckin down Halls cough drops like nobody's business! Any other remedies for a sore throat/cold/congestion that you can think of?

Hope you have a wonderful start to your week! Come back soon to see pics of my whirlwind trip to SoCal 🙂

You are too sweet Alexandra! This design is the easiest to make, maybe I'll do a tutorial on it in the future. Thanks for stopping by and leaving me such a sweet comment! <3

Thanks Morgan! Yea, attending child births is really interesting but super exhausting since we're on call any hour of night! I checked out your blog today and I really liked it! I'll be stopping by more often 🙂

  1. I think attending child births would be amazing. I'm applying to medical school this year with the hope of one day being an OB-GYN so I am just so interested in anything related to that!

Hey Franziska! It's a pretty amazing experience, seeing newborns mere minutes or hours after birth! Good luck with med school apps, I know they are killer but I'm sure you can do it! 🙂

I'm buying the tea tonight! And where do you buy hot orange juice??? Do you just warm it up yourself? I need all these remedies badly!
