There are few things in this world I love more than party planning. When my Grandparent’s 50th and my parent’s 25th anniversaries rolled around, I knew I wanted to help plan all the party details. So we rented out a local restaurant with delicious food and I got to work on the silver and gold festivities.
I didn’t get to snap photos of the silver and gold centerpieces but the candlesticks were a fun DIY project. I learned a LOT about spray painting glass (light layers and PRIMER!). I also made the cake stand that the cake balls sat on, using materials I picked up at the thrift store. When I saw these adorable succulents at our nearby home improvement store, I knew those were the perfect favor for all the attendees, young and old! I’ll have to share the DIY processes in the nearby future, if you’re interested! 
I’m so proud to have such wonderful role models on what it means to be in love for life. Happy Anniversary Ama, Papa, Mom and Dad!

So many great decorations! I threw my parents a 25th anniversary surprise party a few years ago and while it was stressful, it was SO fun!
