To Get Over The Hump

Happy Wednesday Loves!

I'm not sure what to blame, the shorter amount of daytime or the start of a school year but I've been reading about a general sadness, feelings of being overwhelmed and exhaustion among some of my favorite bloggers. I know there are days when I get into a slump and days when I'm completely dragged into a slump by something or someone but I thought today would be a good day for some Pinspiration. Pinterest is one of my favorite things to turn to when I need a little quote to put a pep in my step and these are some of my favorites:

I know there are days when you read quotes like this and you're like "psh, who believes this load of bull" but I hope you're having one of those days where you read these and you're like "that's exactly what I needed today". If there's anything I can do to liven up your day, week or month, I'd love to do anything I can.

On a quick sidenote, I think I've got roughly 5 ladies on board for fantasy football and I'd love to add in 3 more! Let me know if you're interested in giving fantasy football a try (I promise it's not that hard!).

How have you been feeling lately? What quotes do you turn to for inspiration or to get you out of a funk?

Hope you survive the hump friends!

  1. These are great quotes, I've been a bit frazzled at work today so I enjoyed the pick-me-up-- thanks! Have a great Wednesday!

  2. I love the first two quotes. My coaches when I was younger instilled positive thinking in us frequently and it's stuck with me over the years. Some of the quotes have changed from athletics to family but the sentiment is the same. These are really great!

  3. I noticed I haven't visited in awhile! I added to you Bloglovin' since I check that more than my WordPress reader!

But I loved this post! I am having one of those days where the quotes just hit and it was definitely inspirational! I think it is important to remember that you can accomplish anything you put your mind too and it will take work but you can do it! I am taking 18 credits and working 2 jobs and still blogging and hopping to get an Etsy shop of prints open soon! It may sound like a lot (and considering quitting one job) but if you enjoy what you are doing it makes the day a whole lot better!

  4. Yay for fantasy football.

A few years back, I would've been the person who read these and said, STFU, life is the pits. Now, things like this make me smile and give me hope. I also live by the belief that any day that I wake up is automatically a good day...it's just a matter of making it better.
