Rob and I always knew we would fund our own wedding, which was why we waited over 7 years to get engaged (!). And although we both have good jobs, we’re barely hitting our mid-20s and we’re learning that weddings cost A TON. In order to get the most out of our wedding budget, we had to prioritize. For me, photography was at the top of my list and I already had one special lady in mind…

Anna Delores Photography does weddings, engagements, boudoir and portraiture. Emily is an absolute sweetheart and her photography speaks for itself. Thanks for letting me share some of your amazing photographs Emily!
Isn’t her photography absolutely phenomenal? (Click over to Anna Delores Photography for more.) I love her vintage aesthetic with clean and unique perspectives. And don’t even get me started on the beautiful use of natural light! I met Emily through her blog and then she was the first blogger I met in person. Even from our first meeting, I knew we’d be great friends and now she’s going to be my wedding photographer! I couldn’t be more excited to have Emily on board and for all the in person and virtual dates we’re going to have about our wedding!
We already have the beautiful church and we’ve factored in the cost of our guests so naturally photos came next. I mean food, drink and flowers are all lovely but photography lasts forever! Now on to getting that dream physique… (Let’s Get Physical!).
What part of your wedding is/was the most important to you? (Obviously, besides the vows!)

Such beautiful photographs! Looks like you made a fantastic choice. When I got married the photography was the most important thing. After all the decorations are down and the food eaten, the photographs are what will be with you forever!
I am totally with you on this. Photography was on the top of my list. It’s something you keep forever! Yay for finding your photographer!

I think the photography for your wedding is one of the most important things…you’ll have those pictures FOREVER!
I think photography is one of the most important wedding expenses. You could spend thousands decorating, but 50 years from now, who’s going to remember every little detail? If you have a good photographer, then you will!
Photography is definitely the top of the list. All your memories captured in time. I’d definitely spend most of my money on a good photographer that I like than on decorations, food and even the dress.
I’m so excited for you and love that you’re sharing the process with us.
So excited for your wedding!
I LOVE this shout-out, lady, thank you so much! It means so, so much to me that you and Rob chose little ol’ me to document this very significant occasion! I do agree that photography is so important and is one of the things that lasts longest; I know it’s MY top priority when I get married someday!
I totally agree with you Evani…….wedding photography should always be on top of the priority list! Memories are everything in a wedding….GOOD LUCK!!!

Your pictures will be the best investment in your wedding. Looks like you have a great photographer!
Just came across your blog. You guys are a gorgeous couple.
I really wanted great pictures and I’m so happy with the collection I got from my photographer as well as the albums my cousin made for me! I wish we had more time to get more shots, but hopefully Nate and I will take new pictures for our anniversary with my friend Toni.
awww yeaaa Emily!!!
Investing in a good photographer is definitely worth it. The actual wedding day goes by so quickly, but the photos will last forever. Getting a good cake is important too!
I Will die when I get to see your pictures! They are going to be crazy beautiful!
Gosh yeah I can only imagine the costs involved in a wedding, which is why I’d only want to have a small wedding when I do marry, I figure it would be more intimate that way too.
Her photos are just incredible, will be amazing to see what yours turn out like x
