Wedding Wednesday: Beginnings of my Bridal Binder

Anyone who's experienced the wedding planning process can attest to the fact it's not always a walk in the park. There's the realization of cost, the pain of knowing you can't invite everyone you've ever met and (for those of you indecisive people or libras like me) there's the anguish of constantly being forced to pick certain things over another. I needed help and a few friends came to my rescue!

Wedding Gift

Our 2nd family (okay, let's be honest I know it was just you Rachell!) gifted this amazing kit to me and I was over the moon with joy. First off, the binder is a beautiful light tiffany blue which is definitely me. Secondly, I have to admit I am a sucker for Martha Stewart and ANY of her home office supplies. Basically it was one of the MOST thoughtful gifts I've ever received, thank you Reinwalds! Rob got a wonderful grooms gift too (complete with full bottle of Tequila, movie tickets and MORE). We are truly blessed. (Anyone else totally in love with the mini-Margaritas?)

So I started organizing but with 16 months left, I've got so much more to plan! This is just the beginning.

Wedding Binder Organization

It's such a fabulous binder, so versatile and I can't wait to show you more as time goes on.

Then my Filipina soul sista Chris sent me her sweet Ten Things Wedding Package. She's such a wonderful friend who never misses a chance to send a thoughtful package or sweet sentiments. I adore her.

Ahhh, Rob and I have fallen to 5th in the contest! Have I mentioned that if we win, we get a FREE wedding? I would absolutely LOVE if you clicked here to vote and/or shared it with your followers. The blog world is such a wonderful place of support and I couldn't do it without you all!

Is anyone else totally getting their butt kicked by daylight savings this year?

What is something you would send/give a recently engaged friend (advice totally counts)?

  1. Love it! I just voted for you, too! 🙂 I actually almost bought you an organization binder but figured you'd already started one, haha! Oh, how I love the Martha Stewart collection at Staples. 🙂 Hope you're having a great week, lady!

  3. I had a huge wedding when we planned ours. My only advice is to listen to what your groom wants as well. We had a slight issue with my mom trying to take everything completely over the whole planning and we had to step back as talk about what we wanted and not everyone else. I'm a big believer in sharing your day with family and friends but making sure it's what you want as well. Does that make sense? Sometimes I do wish we took the money and went on a bigger honeymoon instead!
